Let's start here, with the news: The CIVC (Comité Interprofessionnel du vin de Champagne) has revealed that Champagne sold 50 million fewer bottles in the first four months of 2020 than in 2019 (...). the maison Philipponnat has announced a historic turning point, presenting the project of an online sales portal, it is a historic turning point for the world of the most classic French bubbles (read more here).

And right now, a call for tenders has become more topical than ever, announced by the Lombardy Chambers of Commerce and Regione Lombardia , which is aimed at E-Commerce and is an immediate and concrete opportunity offered to Lombardy businesses that intend to grow in the markets through digital technologies in order to adapt to the new requirements and changes that this extraordinary situation entails.

The E-commerce 2020 call aims to support companies that intend to develop and consolidate their position in the markets through e-commerce tools by encouraging access to cross border platforms (B2B and/or B2C) and/or proprietary e-commerce systems (websites and/or mobile apps).

The facility consists of a non-repayable grant of 70% of eligible expenditure up to a maximum of € 10,000.00. Each company may submit only one application with a minimum investment of € 4,000.00.

The initiative is carried out in agreement with Regione Lombardia, as part of the Agreement for the development and competitiveness of the Lombardy economic system. The total budget is €2,618,000.00, of which €1,810,000.00 will be borne by the Directorate General for Research, Innovation, Universities, Export and Internationalisation of Regione Lombardia and €808,000.00 by the Chambers of Commerce.

By the time the application is submitted, the Lombard companies concerned must have already identified the product portfolio to be offered on the online sales channel, the foreign target markets and one or more specialised online sales channels, selected in line with the product and target market objectives.

Companies may submit projects relating to the opening and/or consolidation of a commercial channel for the export of their products through access to specialized services for online sales b2b and/or b2c provided both by third parties and implemented within the proprietary company portal.

Applications for assistance may be submitted by 11 September 2020 in telematic mode only with digital signature on the website http://webtelemaco.infocamere.it. Applications will be processed using a ranking evaluation procedure.
