The first window for the submission of applications for the #iobevolombardo call for proposals opens on Monday 29 March. The Regione Lombardia makes available 2.6 million euros to support the quality wine production system and catering operators following the COVID-19 Emergency.
A simplified procedure, promoted in collaboration with Unioncamere Lombardia, for a measure that the two sectors have been waiting for. With this allocation, we are making 250 euro tickets available to restaurateurs, which they will be able to spend to buy quality wines from Lombardy's wineries. Inthis way we also intend to create virtuous territorial relationships and collaborations between wine producers and operators in order to see more and more Lombard wines on the menus of our restaurants in the future," explained Regional Councillor for Agriculture, Food and Green Systems Fabio Rolfi. This year we have also opened up the measure to bars, pubs, wine bars and hotels.
It is right that, as a Region, we should support Lombardy's production chains as much as possible, with all the instruments at our disposal. - – Guido Guidesi, Regional Councillor for Economic Development, added. - The new measure goes precisely in this direction: to promote our excellence also to give further help to restaurants, bars, pubs, wine bars and hotels put in great difficulty by the restrictions.
The #iobevolombardo edition 2021 initiative represents an important injection of liquidity for the wine sector," said Unioncamere Lombardia President Gian Domenico Auricchio. - The closure of the HoReCa channel due to the lockdown has affected many small and medium-sized producers. Companies are suffering the negative effects of the long period of marketing blockade, the closure of fairs and markets and the drop in exports, the channels where typical local products are traditionally sold. Regione Lombardia and Unioncamere Lombardia have fully understood the needs of the sector and wanted to implement a targeted, simple and effective intervention.
In this first phase, active from March 29 to April 26, producers and/or bottlers of PDO, DOCG and PGI wines, only if outside the PDO area (Vini Valcamonica, Terre Lariane and Ronchi Varesini) can submit an expression of interest. In this way, a list of suppliers will be constituted from which restaurant operators will be able to spend the voucher provided by the Region to buy wine. The voucher has a value of € 250, the restaurant operator can benefit from a maximum of n. 2 voucher. The voucher can represent up to a maximum of 60% of the value of the supply. Applications can be submitted from 12.00 noon on 29 March 2021 until 5.00 p.m. on 26 April 2021 through the website http://webtelemaco.infocamere.it.
