All is ready in Hall 6, stand B5/B7 for the Special Edition of Vinitaly 2021, an opportunity to meet and promote the Wines of Lombardy.
There are 26 wineries dell’Oltrepò Pavese present with wines for tasting at the tasting desk and wines that will make up the different Masterclasses in the space dedicated to the Consorzio Tutela Vini Oltrepò Pavese with Regione Lombardia. The companies are present with their labels in the space of Consorzio, in the area dedicated to the Consortia of Wines of Lombardy - in Verona from October 17 to 19.
Vinitaly Special Edition therefore also becomes Vinitaly Special Lombardia. The event represents an opportunity to once again offer itself to buyers, trade operators and journalists and present with the consolidated formula of the Lombardy collective-which brings together institutions, consortia and producers-what the best can offer a territory that boasts as many as 90 percent of Quality Denomination wines, thanks to 5 DOCG, 21 Doc and 15 IGT.

In the exhibition area financed and set up under a programme agreement by Regione Lombardia and Unioncamere Lombardia, an ad hoc tasting area has been set up to host nine Master Classes organised by Ascovilo, the association of Lombard wine consortia, to highlight the special features of individual products. This novelty, which will mark the three days of the event, will see experts of the calibre of Paolo Massobrio and Marco Gatti, journalists and food and wine critics, Marco Sabellico, editor of Gambero Rosso's Vini d'Italia guide, and Alberto Lupini, director of Italia a Tavola, conducting in-depth meetings.

16:30 - Not all Lombards are in a hurry: aging red wines - With Paolo Massobrio | The value of time explained in a tasting in which the great Lombard reds exalt their ability to cope with the passing of the years.
