Carlo Veronese - Director of Consorzio Tutela Vini Oltrepò Pavese: "From Milan Wine Week, to Verona Special Edition, to Merano Wine Festival we have never stopped. Activating the maximum promotion in the areas of business, communication, marketing, consumer, relations, through three major international events, different from each other and all focused with a special enthusiasm for the restart of wine. In the meantime, we also activated development training projects, interacting with the local and territorial realities of Lombardy, and managed a very interesting technical and high-level tour with the foreign trade press, also activating on the international wine tourism radar."
"We are in New York with the promotion agreed with Eataly and in these days the communication of Falstaff, an international magazine, is coming out with its sparkling special that will see an important presence of "our" bubbles Metodo Classico DOCG Oltrepò Pavese. In Rome, the Food&Wine appointment planned by the Pavia Chamber of Commerce, Regione Lombardia and Unioncamere Lombardia will allow us to promote the Territory at the Centre of the Belpaese, on 22 November, with a day of tastings "combined with typical food" that promises to be interesting and exciting also for the central moment of the restart of wine and related promotion in all its channels".
"We are following all the paths that had to be retraced post-pandemic. - Veronese explains - With a constant flow of information and in-depth analysis of the area that has crossed borders and continents, thanks also to an activity launched in the States and in some northern countries (Germany, Switzerland and Austria), to start a project for wider dissemination and internationalisation of the brand of the Oltrepo Pavese Denominations. This is a long and important task that can open up new markets and improve those already open.
"This is an activity that aims to create value in the perception of products and the complex logic of the wine and viticulture market. Our official media have been in these happily stormed. I don't think it has ever happened in two months of concentrated activity and so beating. I am pleased for the Denominations dell’Oltrepò Pavese and for the Italian wine sector."
Gilda Fugazza, president of Consorzio Tutela Vini Oltrepò Pavese: "Being present, active, even enthusiastic in these promotional events was and is important for many reasons. It has rewarded us to have planned in advance this tour de force that stops in Rome, Capital of Made in Italy. - explains the President - I will never cease to thank the management of Consorzio who showed concentration and enthusiasm for this planned but also challenging restart. A positive restart from all points of view."
"Among the main objectives is the enhancement of the Product, from the vineyard to the goblet, both in the brand perception of the Denominations, and through the special storytelling of this historically wine land and so biodiverse, as well as through quality, sustainability also economic and social, a road now taken by many and menomale. The versatility of the products dell’Oltrepò Pavese, both in beverage and in food, is a card to play for excellences that tell the typicality of the Territory: they are able to meet all the tastes of a consumer who today is very evolved, attentive, biodiverse and ready to receive novelties of products that still have a great story behind them and demand value."
