On March 19 at the Melià in Milan a day dedicated to the wines of Lombardy with Ascovilo - Associazione Consorzi Tutela Vini Lombardi a Docg, Doc e Igt - and Grana Padano. These are the Wine Days that relaunch the value and taste of the Denominations of Lombardy
Golosaria turns the spotlight on the wines of Lombardy under the sign of "Born to be together or the glasses of Lombardy wine and the different ages of Grana Padano, the protagonists of an event at theMelià hotel in Via Masaccio (the historic headquarters of Golosaria) and of the weeks dedicated to it, with 13 restaurants that have codified 52 recipes with the most widely consumed PDO cheese in the world combined with the wines of the Consortia (they are also 13) that are members of Ascovilo.
On 19 March,Paolo Massobrio and Marco Gatti will lead 8 masterclasses and attend 13 dinners from 14 March to 14 May. But the surprises don't end here, because during the first Wine Day, 50 new venues that have already been included in the IlGolosario restaurant app and tested since the guide was published last October will receive awards from the IlGolosario guide.
The Day of Wine will be animated by Lombardy's wine producers, with a good participation of those from the Oltrepo' Pavese area, but also by theEnoteca created by Ascovilo to get to know the various facets of the region's wine areas, and a representation of Lombardy's food producers selected by ilGolosario, an expression of the region's excellence in terms of cured meats, baked goods, sweet and savoury delicacies.
And on 23 April the event will be repeated, with the second day dedicated to the wines of Emilia and Romagna, including Lambrusco and Sangiovese, with the presence of producers and theEnoteca Regionale dell'Emilia Romagna, as well as 8 dedicated masterclasses.
