Entitled The Treasures. dell’Oltrepò Pavese and it is the promotional tour that Consorzio Tutela Vini has organized in the United States to promote its appellations. From October 2 to 12, stops in New York, Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles. October 10 and 12 also include participation in the Simply Italian Great Wines double date.

Leading the eleven appointments with the wines DOC and DOCG dell’Oltrepò Pavese there will be the brand ambassador to the United States, Susannah Gold, who in tandem with the director of Consorzio, Carlo Veronese, will lead a serialized tale of territorial excellence.The tour will consist of masterclasses, tasting counters and paired dinners.

It will be a true storytelling of treasures to be tasted for a geographically virtual journey dedicated to American winelovers, professionals in the sector, whom Consorzio will meet in New York, Boston and Chicago, in the latter city will also begin the double date with the Simply Italian Trade Show that will end in Los Angeles with the October 12 event.

It will be a journey from virtual to real thanks to the tasting of the different labels, leading journalists, educators, and distributors to understand the magnificent hills dell’Oltrepò Pavese where elegant, never banal wines are born, representative of a multifaceted wine land of Lombardy, an hour from Milan, with a deep history of international, historical and native grape varieties, yet to be told.

In Chicago on October 10, therefore, Simply Italian Great Wines, the event conceived by IEM - International Exhibition Management to enhance Italian oenology in the world, will also kick off, returning to one of the markets of strong interest for Italian wine: the U.S., the world's leading market by consumption. As in previous editions, the fourteenth edition of Simply will stop in Chicago (October 10) and Los Angeles (October 12) and on both dates will see the participation of the Consorzio Tutela Vini Oltrepò Pavese. The two Simply Italian events are organized to enable Italian producers to meet directly with local professionals (importers, sommeliers, ho.re.ca. channel) and the trade press, fostering business relationships.

The primary aim is to enhance and communicate the value of Italian wine, giving visibility to the leading wineries, thanks to a rich program of seminars, guided tastings and workshops.
