Denominations promotion activities abroad continue for the Consorzio Tutela Vini Oltrepò Pavese, which faces a very interesting tour in Germany, with the presence of its director Carlo Veronese. The Tour kicked off with the first event, which immediately sold out, on Monday, November 20, 2023, in Hamburg, an event planned with activities coordinated and shared with Ascovilo and Grana Padano (EU Taste Excellence Project). After Hamburg, Berlin and Mainz, the tour tackles two events with Gambero Rosso International and stops in Frankfurt and Cologne.
The well-established organization of Vinum magazine, thanks to its "Weintour exclusive masterclass seminare," has organized a series of must-attend masterclasses to enrich the oenological and gastronomic knowledge of wine enthusiasts and experts in Germany, in which the Consorzio Tutela Vini Oltrepò Pavese. First cities touched: Hamburg, Berlin and Mainz, then it will be the turn of Cologne and Frankfurt with the organization of Gambero Rosso international.
It starts with Vinum's Weintour, an experience to discover the excellence of Lombardy's wines and the secrets of Grana Padano, but it is also a great opportunity for Lombardy companies to make themselves better known. The first event sold out, in Hamburg, at the Design Offices in Görttwiete, where the Denominations dell’Oltrepò Pavese began their tour in Germany. Great attendance at the first seminar moderated by Claudia Stern, author of Vinum Germania, flanked by Carlo Veronese.

Scheduled Masterclasses offer a unique opportunity for food and wine pairings with Grana Padano. The cheese sommelier, Wolfgang Fusenig, will lead participants through the fascinating history of Grana Padano, dialoguing with Claudia Stern to make them understand which wines from Lombardy go best with the different ages of Grana Padano DOP.
