A stellar catwalk on February 23rd, scheduled in New York, with the Tre Bicchieri World Tour event at the Big Apple's Metropolitan Pavilion at 125 West Eighteenth Street. It is one of the top events of the Gambero Rosso international that returns to New York with an extensive tasting of the best Italian wines awarded in the Vini d'Italia guide. And among these are the wines that represent the Denominations dell’Oltrepò Pavese, with a series of record-breaking awards, the pride of the Consorzio Tutela Vini Oltrepò Pavese.

The director Carlo Veronese left for New York to be present and promote the Denominations – which in Oltrepò are 6 plus the DOCG of the OP Metodo Classico sparkling wine in great growth in appreciation by the world that counts on wine and also by consumers. In fact, promotion abroad begins in New York – says Carlo Veronese – according to a program that we have planned and that will see us present, after this very important and rewarding New York event, with Ascovilo and Grana Padano, at Prowein 2024.

Gambero Rosso in New York offers a wide tasting of the best Italian wines awarded in the Vini d'Italia guide. The Tre Bicchieri World Tour, which sees a special Regione Lombardia, as always, there will be a walkaround tasting and a masterclass featuring the wines awarded by the Tre Bicchieri dell’Oltrepò Pavese. Here is the list of all the wine producers who will have their products tasted at this New York event: https://www.gamberorossointernational.com/tours/new-york-2024-02-23/

The New York masterclass is a "Lombardy" masterclass and includes the participation of the 6 Three Glasses won in Oltrepò Pavese, present with their own bench at the event. It will therefore be a masterclass with 10 Lombard wines, 6 of which are representatives dell’Oltrepò Pavese and they are the 6 companies present at the event, namely Calatroni, Cordero, Fiamberti, Mazzolino, Travaglino and Vistarino.

For the Consorzio, after this event it will be the turn of the great wine fairs: with Prowein and Vinitaly, then the participation in the Slow Wine Tour USA 2024 which this year touches the cities of Washington DC, New York, Austin, Denver and San Francisco from 18 to 27 March. Director Carlo Veronese says: The continuous promotion abroad that the Consorzio It has been carrying out in recent years, it is already giving concrete results. While I was flying to New York I found a producer who was leaving for Korea, many important wineries are traveling and exporting and make known not only their labels but a whole Territory of Denomination wine that is growing and distinguishing itself.
