Raised 3600 euros for the Association that cares for families of leukemia children by working with San Matteo in Pavia. Mauro Ferrarese’s Roots Music Festival will return on June 7, 2025 for its third edition. A Tour of Blues for Agal was sponsored by the Consorzio Tutela Vini Oltrepò Pavese

The Riccagioia Center in Torrazza Coste (PV) became for one evening Riccagioia in Blues, Blues for Agal, the second edition of the Roots Music Festival. A great success, with more than 250 people involved in the synesthesia of the senses and music, including gluttony, with tastings of typical products. It was an evening that never wanted to end in the beautiful courtyard that is reflected on the Habsburg House, in the estate where Ersaf, instrumental body for services to Agriculture and Forestry of Regione Lombardia, has its headquarters, a magical place between history and nature, which amplified the effect of good music guaranteed by the performances of 9 artists, who took turns on stage, expressing the utmost talent, giving emotions to those who wanted to “taste” this innovative event.

The Roots Music Festival, in its second year, was a blast: waiting for the sunset and then the night in Riccagioia on Saturday, June 1, for hours on end, there was only their music to sow emotions. There has been the music of Max Prandi, Mauro Ferrarese with Alessandro Porro and Beppe Semeraro, the Mandolin Brothers, now more prophets at home than ever before, led by Jimmy Ragazzon, and then Max De Bernardi & Veronica Sbergia with jazzman Mauro Porro. With an unforgettable final jam session that bodes well for the third edition set for June 7, 2025.

A rich joy of blues for the children of AGAL who are battling leukemia spread over the first hill of Torrazza Coste,” commented maestro Emanuele Servidio, show manager of this event. It was a success of music and companionship: the typical cured meats of master Roberto Tizzoni, Il Tizzo, Valle Staffora cheeses presented with local honey thanks to the generous participation of Count Enrico Odetti di Marcorengo of Malaspina Castle in Varzi, the delicacies prepared by Alessia and Stefano Limuti of Bottega della Carne di Angera, with wines from Riccagioia Winery. The evening totally for charity for AGAL raised 3600 euros, which will be used to restore the apartments that house the families of leukemia children being treated at San Matteo in Pavia.

The Roots Music Festival, which repurposes the very score to the origins of music and the blues, has launched a new format “A Tour of Blues” touring and charity. “The evening in Riccagioia wasexciting and engaging, and we want to thank the working group of fantastic people,” said Clara Baggi, president and Stefano Lucato vice president of AGAL.
